Act I; If I make a pie and don't post a picture of it - is it still considered baking?

You're probably wondering why you need to spend your time reading another blog about food and...you know, life. You're also probably wondering how our salty snacks and sugary desserts can possibly make your life more interesting.
What good could this smooth strawberry summer pie bring you?

As if you don't have better things to do with your time.

For one, you should probably start working on that New Year's resolution - working out, getting fit, eating right. After all, Dr. Steinberg has been nagging you about getting your schmuck self on a treadmill since your cholesterol numbers are through the roof. 

So why should you choose to spend precious calorie-burning time scrolling through indulgence, imagination and a third buzzword starting with an 'i'?

Well, the reason is pretty simple.

We love food. We'd marry food. We'd take it on a romantic getaway to a quaint bed & breakfast in Vermont, and pop the question while watching the sun set over Lake Champlain on a peaceful autumn's night. We'd propose with that three-stone 18k gold ring from Tiffany's it had its eyes on every time we passed the window display on 5th Avenue. And even though it cost well over two months worth of rent (not including the engravement - we know a guy) and we had to put our Billy Joel record collection up for sale on Craigslist (except for River of Dreams. We're not idiots), it was all worthwhile just to see that beautiful smile.  

Or, if this is too farfetched to believe, you can always consider it an act of destiny. 

Why else would you be reading this right now?

You see, when you turned on your computer today the mythical powers of the universe gravitated towards you, guided you through the turmoil of the cyber realm and lead you to this land of Canaan, where --- IRRESISTIBILITY. That's the third 'i'-word. There you go. 

So to sum up; indulgence, imagination and irresistibility.
